Is my veil supposed to match the color of my wedding dress?

I'm getting married for the second time this spring. I got my dress ( its like a beige or candle light color) from a thrift store. Strapless with full bottom. I want a simple single tulle veil. I see lots of off white and white ones , but nothing really matches. It won't be exactly touching the dress, is it supposed to mach perfect or real close? Or is it just supposed to be ....not bright white? If it is supposed to match, where do you find an inexpensive veil in the right color?
