I got a problem filling fafsa, Please help?

In the financial part in fafsa where it ask me for adjust gross income father/stepfather earn from working (wages, salaries, tips, etc.) in 2012? The problem is the amount is the same The tax return form says 1040 or 1040A i look for line 37 for gross adjust income the amount is 27,220 And income is 27,220 When i submitted my fafsa it said that there was a problem that the amount can not be the same.
