I need to know! Is it against the law in TX?

I live in Texas with my 18 month old son and my husband! I have recently heard rumors that it is against the law for parents to share a bedroom with a baby that is of 1 year or older! We're looking to move soon and it would be a lot easier if for now we could make do with a 1 bedroom! See, my husband is trying to join full active duty in the air force and we may only need something till he gets deployed. That is if he gets in. So were not looking for something to keep for no longer than 6 months to a year. So can anyone tell me, Is it illegal? Can I share with my son and be ok? Or should I try to get a 2 bedroom and hope that we can afford it?
