how can I get a reminder about an email from contacts?

when I used the older version of yahoo it always reminded me that I got an email from one of my friends in my contact list. but now I have to look through all my emails in my inbox to see if I got an email from that particular person. is there a way that once I sign in my email it somehow *highlights* that I got an email from one of my friends? thanks.
