FIRST DATE WHAT SHOULD I DO?

okay, so I have this Irish claddagh ring I wear everyday and I feel weird with out it. BUT its my first date with this guy (I'm a junior in hs) and it's his first date ever and I don't know how to wear the ring. I know it may look like I'm crazy like you guys might say "wear it facing out" but when we joke around he's always like "...we're so done" like as if we were something? I don't know...Help?
