My friend keeps talking about her crush?

All my friend talks about is this guy in our year. They're really good friends, talk everyday and stuff, but i think he only likes her as a friend (friendzoned by a guy :/) and this is all she ever talks about. I mean, she can like him, but how can i get her to just shut up about him? I've tried asking nicely, and i have said to her to just shut up, but it hasnt worked. And do you think i could just ask the guy if he likes her? Thanks
