Tooth pain. sensitive to temperature but looked and found no cavity. help?

My top tooth on left corner is sensitive to cold and heat. Not sensitive to sweets though. Hurts alittle when pressure is applied but nothing more. I had it filled couple years ago. So whats going on? Dont exactly have the money for a dentist. Any ideas what it could be and solutions?
