What color are things in the dark?

This might be a stupid question. I don't know. But since an object shows color by reflecting light, for example a blue wall reflects blue light and absorbs the others, then what color would something be in the dark say, if you were in a cave 300 feet underground? Would it stay the same? Is light always present? And is black a color???
