Daughters name Mercedes Cool or Cruel?

I and my Gf are about to have a daughter and we're still torn on names. I want to name her Mercedes, but my Gf is afraid this will cause her problems in life. Do you think shes right? or Should she be given the awesome name of Mercedes?
