Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness water can problems?

I have been playing harvest moon island of happiness lately and then i decided to upgrade my tool it has 2 red wonderfuls, 1 blue and 1 indigo it worked fine before but since ive put those one it wont fill up!! i walk over to the water area fill it up and then it wont water my plants i check to see how much waters in it and there isnt any ive been stuck for hours trying to water my plants but i cant. and p.s. ive tryed removing the wonderfuls and it still doesnt work.
