My ex don't seem to get it that we over what else can I do for him to understand?

He said this last night: I I know you got my text message yesterday I thought you said we were still friends I needed your help yesterday but if you really want me to leave you alone then that's what Ill do Should I call to let him knw I do want to be left alone? Or Should i text him that? I really want him to get it that I'm done and never get message from him ever!!!
