Any aspects that make you feel someone gives you so much you can never repay them?

They just keep giving to you in great ways, but you know you don't have the power the repay them? For example I know a man who kicked someone out so I could live in the house (he didn't even know me) now he's a doctor on my ward and he's teaching me about patients (me being a nurse I can be uninformed).
