Conputer stuck on black screen?

I have a sony vaio vgnbx561b laptop with windows 7 professional. My computer shows starting windows but after than a black screen with a mouse pointer that is movable comes. Already tried all menus in f8 , checked the bios and made it at default settings, also tried startup repair. I dont have A installation disk. What do i do other than installing a os again.
