Why can I only access some of my pics in Photo Stream from my laptop?

When I enter my Photo Stream folder in my laptop the majority of the pictures can't be displayed showing the following message: "Photo Gallery can't open this photo because you do not have permission to access the file location". This is strange because it doesn't happen with all of them. How can I gain access to them?
