Slimfast plan while doing Shaun Ts hip hop abs workout?

Ive been doing the slImfast plan and starting the hip hop ab workout. The workout plan includes shakeology which are really expensive protein shakes I can't afford, will I still see results if I continue the slimfast or should I follow Shaun t hop hop ab meal plan?
