Question #7800117

do psych meds cause fathigue when running?

I am a 21 year old former cross country runner who was in phenomenal shape up until six months ago when I began to be exhausted and slow when I ran. Two things happened: 1) I was put on 4 different psych meds for bipolar disorder, and 2) I broke my foot and was unable to run for a few months. My meds are wellbutrin, lithium, fanapt, and klonopin. It's really frustrating because I don't know if my meds are slowing me down or if I'm just out of shape because I haven't been running enough. But I used to blaze through a 7 mile run at 7 minute pace, and now I can hardly make it through a 3 mile run at 9+ minute pace. That strikes me as too much conditioning to lose in only six months. I'm interested to know you opinions. Thanks.
