psych ward about self-harm ?

ok well i kinda start self-harm again and truthful i dont want to stop. i do but dont. and i am 22 and was wonder could my family put me in a psych ward even if im 22? i am doing it for no reason and i dont even know why. and please no mean comments thanks sorry if this dont make sense .
