Why do Blackjack odds change with more decks?
How come its a lot easier to when at blackjack with one deck than with 8? Take someone who DOESN'T know how to count cards, just basic strategy. I've done and seen the mathematics, I am just looking for the logic reason behind it because I can't wrap my head around it. ALSO, why is it in the house's favor to hit a soft 17? Logically, to me, there odds would be much worse, because if they don't draw an A or 10, they have to hit again. Again, looking for logical answer, not statistical. Just having trouble wrapping my head around the concepts, even with the statistical proof. Thanks!
