Can a short guy get a hot girlfriend?

Im 5'4 and done growing and I seem to have a decent amount of girls into me except the sad reality is that none of these girls are pretty. I only go for girls who are my height and below and seems like average looking girls between 5'0 and 5'4 are happy to date me but pretty girls between 5'0 and 5'4 ALWAYS want a tall guy and turn me down when I approach them. Even on dating sites , its the attractive short girls that always have a tall requirement while the unnattractive ones dont care. Does this mean I have to settle for a girl I dont want while the tall guys get the good girls?
