Should I talk to my ex boyfriend?

I miss him so much. we were together for 2 years and we broke up about 5 months ago. but during the 5 months that we've been apart, we've still talked to each other and he's told me that he loves me and he moved to Flordia for the summer to work with his dad and he would tell me how many more weeks he would be home and stuff. But now i haven't talked to him in like 2 months. He got a girlfriend in Flordia but they only dated for 2 weeks and then they broke up. I don't know if he's home or what. I wanna text him so bad and tell him that i miss him and that i still love him but I'm scared. I've dated different guys but i honestly feel like he's the one. And i cannot get over him no matter what i do. I'm scared to talk to him because i don't want him to reject me but at the same time, i love him so much and i want to be with him again. What should i do?
