Does your life flash before your eyes when you die?

I read somewhere that the psychedelic chemical, DMT, is released in your brain when you die, and like marijuana it distorts time perception but so much so that some people say that you can live a whole lifetime. I was just wondering if it's true that you see your life flash before your eyes when you die due to this drug, or maybe by other ways?
