Swelling inside mouth after extraction?

5 days ago I had a molar pulled (the one in front of the wisdom tooth on the right). I believe it's number 18. I have had no problems with the extraction site, but today I have swelling and pain from the cheek above the wisdom tooth (where I had the Novocain shots. Is this normal? When will it go away?
