Question #8200150

My remote wire is causing my amp fuse to blow?

So my amp keeps blowing fuses. It has to do with the remote wire. I disconnected the speakers. When my alpine DVD player is turned off the fuse does not blow. When I turn on the stereo it blows. I then disconnected the remote from the stereo and jumped the remote from my battery and it blew the fuse. I put in an older amp I had and it does the same thing. I have had 20 amp fuses for the life of the system( about 3 years) with no problems. Do you have any idea what might cause this. Thank you for advice in advance
