Rib tattoo hurt more than two hip micro dermals?

I'm booking in for a tattoo on my 18th birthday as a present for me. I want a dream catcher down my side. It will be about a floot long including the feathers. I know it will hurt, I'm just worried about how much it will hurt and if I won't be able to withstand it. In the past I've had two microdermabrasion s and they hurt but it was very barrable, I have also had a neck piercing. Would you consider them to be the same amount if pain as a tattoo?
