Why do kids fall all the times?

I see children falling all the along street or when playing. Whenever walking with my niece (3yrs) in a distance of about 100m she did fall 3times yet i was holding hand. same story when she is walking alone. is it becoz they are not concentrating, balancing , brain development or why?
