How to configure an Alesis MultiMix 4?

I'm using an Alesis MultiMix 4 USB mixer, with a Sennheiser microphone. I'm planning on uploading vocal covers on youtube that consist of mostly screaming/growling. Does anyone know what configurations my mixer should be set at? Also, if anyone could drop me a line to a good studio software so I can also edit my videos that would be great. Thanks.
